Spiral taped polypro hoops are great for beginners to advanced hoopers. They are preferred over bare polypro for learning to hoop because the spiral grip tape offers more grip contact with your hands. Due to the tape they are also heavier than a bare polypro hoop which makes them better for learning. They are a versatile hoop that can be used for learning hand tricks and body hooping. Plus, there are so many tapes to create your own unique design!
These hoops are made of polypro tubing, which is light and bouncy, and the tape adds a little bit of weight.
Check out the heavier beginner waist hoop if your goal is to focus on waist hooping.
