This class is designed for those who can confidently waist and hand hula hoop and know some tricks already. Must also understand escalators, vortex and isolations. If you have taken classes before, or if you’ve been practicing solo and are ready to launch your hoop skills into overdrive, this is the class for you!
We start with stretching and waist/chest/knee hooping cardio dance flow, learning to move and boogie with our hoops. Our focus will be on building new skills, learning tricks, and smoothing out the ones you may already know. Tricks will also have lots of variations that build upon each other. Each week you will review tricks from the previous week to ensure complete understanding moving forwards.
Laura moves at the speed of the class and tries to make the tricks and flow achievable while still challenging. Every student will receive personal feedback and tips.
Ideally you will have a hoop that you can use for waist hooping and hand hooping, or a heavy waist and light polypro hand hoop.
